As part of the Office of the Dean of the Chapel, the Muslim Students Association (MSA) is building a vibrant community that serves the needs of the Muslims on campus, strengthens the faith of Muslim students and promotes a greater understanding of Islam by educating our peers through lectures, events, dialogues, and our daily interactions
Howard University Jummah Prayer Services are the emerging epi-center of Black Islamic Thought and social action. Our community is helping to create the platform and expand the discussion.
We offer a different guest khateeb (preacher) each Friday to highlight the various voices that encompass our Ummah (community). Khateebs such as Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Imam Zaid Shakir and Ustadh Ubaidallah Evans. Join us as we welcome students, faculty, staff, and guests each week.
We celebrate both Eids and offer Iftar meals (breakfast) during Ramadan.
